Description
"Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
I wish, I wish he’d go away...
When I came home last night at three
The man was waiting there for me
But when I looked around the hall
I couldn’t see him there at all!
Go away, go away, don’t you come back any more!
Go away, go away, and please don’t slam the door... (slam!)
Last night I saw upon the stair
A little man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
Oh, how I wish he’d go away"
I know the poem doesn't quite fit the shot, but the poem was running through my head as I was setting up, and it seems to, in a way. Anyway, thanks for looking.

Well, that man isn't at the window either, right? LOL Great picture!
You gotta watch out for those people who aren't there; they're always getting in the way of something, or sticking their non-there noses where they don't belong. In a sense, the poem is perfect for the photo, especially if it has been running around in your head all day! Funny how things like that work. As for the photo, it's quite marvelous and incredibly moody, and in relation to the poem, it actually invites the viewer to look for all sorts of not-there things. This is marvelous, moody, and quite deliciously haunting.
Great pic I like the blowing curtain and the poem too Just ask the spirit man in your poem to go to the light Nice to meet ya and hope you come visit me Susan~
wonderful photo
I love the shot. It really does give the feeling of someone who isn't there. I've used that poem myself ... it's just right for certain moods!
Superb sensitive capture! And nice poem too, I think it fits well with the mood of the photo...
