Description
Eileen and Rosie at the nursing home today.
Eileen was 100 in 2010, and engaged in many lively and lucid discussions about politics in the lead up to our General Election that year. You should have heard her opinion about some of our leaders!
She has become much frailer and is now mainly in bed, but still has great pleasure in visitors. She doesn't appear to have dementia.
Eileen used to love Hetty and so Rosie is welcome as she is a similar size.
She is very deaf, but has managed not to lose her hearing aids, like some of the others!

Fantastic photo!
Stunning capture Andrea. God Bless.
Looks like a wonderful connection between these two. Great capture Andrea.
What's that line about raging against the dieing of the light. Good for Elaine, she sounds like a terrific lady. I see Rosie has fit in perfectly like her brothers.
Bless both their hearts - therapy that money cannot buy!
AMazing story about this lady. Rosie is a really hard working girl :)
Terrific portrait of the both of them.
Lovely portrait! :)
Great sight. There was a big ole dog in the nursing home where my Mom lived. It wandered from room to room visiting the residents. They loved it and it got lots of treats. :-)
Very beautiful capture Andrea! such a tender moment to be treasured and thank you for sharing it with us
They look like two friends enjoying each others company :)
WONDERFUL PHOTO
Good heavens, if she's 100, can I be that far behind? Most sobering. Otherwise, stellar POV and general photographic effects in this neat capture, A.
Rosy looks to enjoy her work and she makes a lot of people very happy.
so sweet !
Rosie is doing a super job, lovely capture!!
nice couple ;)
This makes me very sad i have seen where the children just stick them in a home and visit once a year and they never understood why.Great shot of them together.
Sweet shot! I think my little beest would be good a this kind of job if she wasn't so bouncy all the time. She loves people!
Precious...
Funny, I was just googling to see if I could rent a dog for the weekend, and then I saw this!
What a sweet and precious photo Andrea. Rosie and Eileen sure look like they are enjoying each other's company.
Beautiful moment captured. Lovely image. Eileen and Rosie look like they are getting on famously. How the world has changed since she was born. I finished reading a book on the flu epidemic of 1918 recently. She would have been 8. I wonder if she remembers it.
They both look quite content with each other. A lovely image.
What an amazing photo! Touching! Nicely fun as well...you can see that they're having fun and that's the most important thing! Life's what you make it, and animals always help you to make it into something fantastic!
a heart warming photo of Eileen and the joy that Rosie's brings with her on your visit.
