Description
The third of this series from walks on the heath this month.
It is a small but precious open space in the middle of our huge conurbation.
Today we have bright cold sunny weather, a great relief from the rain and floods for some very unfortunate folk.

an unspoilt stretch of heath, puts me in mind of Thomas Hardy
Beautiful shot Andrea, It is surprizing to see so much of it is still green this late in the year.
Nice shot of a most green area for this time of year.
Fine shot, Andrea!! :o)
A beautifully inviting path!
What gorgeous landscape in this stretch of the walk Andrea. So nice to see such lush green grass for this time of year. LOL. P.S. Jim is still denying your request---With or without props.
This is a lovely area.
Superb capture. God Bless.
Invitation to follow the path! Lovely soft autumn colours
The path looks very dry, no puddles :o)
Great capture Andrea
Lovely and very peaceful looking :-)
Wonderful capture! :)
GREAT MOOD
Great Scott, so similar to the cliff area overlooking the Bolsa Chica Wetlands in Huntington Beach, California. But conurbation? How arcane.
Had not heard the word conurbation before. Sounded a little like self abuse. I looked up the definition. Turns out I was right if you happen to live in one. This is a lovely image, the antidote to conurbation.
It doesn't look that small but more of a huge open space. A beautiful place to walk with the dogs!
