Description
As with Hercules once its fuel is exhausted a series of explosive bolts fire to separate the mini Cocoon from the Sprinter Booster and allow Cocoon’s inertia to carry it toward Earth orbit. It is at this point that the PAM (Payload Assist Module) booster attached to the underside of the Cocoon ignites to ensure that its journey into Earth orbit is a successful one.
