Yes, when they see a scissors coming towards them!
I am baby- sitting two enormous strelitzia and if only they would flower I should be the one with tears of joy!
They are a most amazing flower but I have no idea what that droplet is!

The strelitzia ... a queen among the flowers and their tears are the diamonds!!
Absolutely gorgeous, Mark! The colors, light, and tear are superb. Beautiful in zoom. I love the streaks of light and the tear drop like shining amber. Very nice. I love it.
wonderful close up, great colors, like the Golden drop of nectar
a sunshine smile warm hugs, Linda
somebody says, when they see a scissors coming towards them! good sense of humor , excelente close up my friend , very impresive details and colors
Would you believe it, it's only half of the flower, that you see here? - the other half is still to come through - watch and see, would I lie to you? BTW that teardrop is sap, that the Honeyeaters love so much ... I have these Strelitzia's 'Bird of Paradise' growing in my garden and also the white ones called Strelitzia 'Nikolais' ... the joys of living in the Tropics ;) BB
marvellous and oh so delicate
