Pua ‘Akala Cabin built in 1883 from Koa wood owned by David Howard Hitchcock who shared with brother Edward located on the slopes of Mauna Kea. House was used as a retreat or get away. David Hitchcock was a painter and artist. Aloha and thank you for viewing

This cabin has certainly weathered real well, I can imagine some surfing dudes would love to retreat there after a hard day of riding the waves ... this looks full of adventure to me!
