Description
As the crew of Atlantis finally draw near to the already assembled sections of the MMS-1 Spacecraft we see fully for the time what has been transported into space via Hercules.
Carried into space this day has been final lead element of the MMS-1, its Upper Rotational Module unit and the docking assembly which will allow the MS-1 Spacecraft to dock with the MMS-1 when both spacecraft are fully assembled.
Shortly before the complex docking operation takes place astronauts from Discovery wearing thruster suits will leave their craft, move over to the Upper Rotational Module and remove and discard the end-cap plate which has been covering the end of the module with its complex interior components.
