Description
MUCH better in full size. Just saying.
Another photo i took at the Wegerzyn Gardens, featuring a young mantis which decided to stay on a sign, for a while. ;)
More to come! :P

Wonderful macro capture of this colorful little mantis
Excellent macro, amazing bright leaf he happened to be sitting on for the shot, too =) really fantastic work!
Fascinating creatures. Great work!
Thank you Dave, Jude, and GrandmaT! :) Jude: the mantis was on a sign, not a leaf. Likely to be fiberglass or resin coated... see the fibers criss-crossing?
Beautiful photo, it's great that you caught her when she was on a red background, too. Really shows off the beauty of such a deadly predator.
Very artistic shot of this beautiful creature! :)
Thank you, NefariousDrO and MrsAjrarn! :)

Nice shot of a bug I'm not likely to ever see!
