Description
Taken from Battery Boutelle: This is one of the many gun fortifications on the banks of the Pacific in Golden Gate National Park. The original 5 gun mounted here could fire 30 rounds a minute, hit targets up to 7 miles out at sea, and was built by The Bethlehem Steel. Just over that wall is one of the nicest views of the Golden Gate Bridge crossing into the Marin Headlands.
