Description
This follow up to the Birthday post for Mark has been seen in my gallery before. It was so closely cropped for Rendo's requirements back then when I had not a thing to resize images with. That I'm not going to call this a repost.
Being so close to Halloween and the depiction of demons in the Asian culture has always intrigued me. I thought a closer look at this symbol of evil would be in order.
To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!!
Thank you all that viewed my last image below.

Cool
beautiful sculpture work and capture
great capture
Say, isn't this how they do back massages in Japan? An outstanding capture of the woodcarver's art. He looks both really annoyed and resigned.
Lol...back-massages - yes, it is! An amazing wood carving. The people of the orient are so skilled at carving wood, stone, ivory - you name it. The flowing lines and drapings are so real looking that you forget for a moment or two that you are looking at something obdurate, not soft. This is a wonderful close-up of the demon. Beautiful statue all around!
Very good capture!
