Description
this is on board the USS Lexington at Corpus Christi,TX on a lower deck where the planes were stored and repaired. they were lowered on an elevator I am thinking but I never seen it
the curvature was from my 15mm fish eye.I did not correct it on purpose in order not to lose part of the big picture

It's a nice capture Richard, a pretty large engine too!
Shining.
splendide avion, une très belle prise de vue !
Beautiful bi plane. :)))) There is a red bi plane that flies over our home often in the summer. :)))) They have a unique sound. :)))))) Most excellent capture my friend. :)))))) Thank you for sharing all of the beauty you see. :)))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :))))
This is a great shot of this old N3N Richard. This shot is on the hanger deck. When the aircraft elevator is in the up position, it becomes part of the flight deck - where the plane are launched and land back on the carrier!
Oh, its a neat looking Navy training plane... the colours from that era are fantastic aren't they! Give that some were floatplanes - "fish eye" is quite appropriate!
Cool capture... would love to tour around the preserved US Fleet ships one day!!
