Description
Made 99 pct. with Bryce 5, "ferns" from Plant Studio. Lens flare done in Photoshop (KPT 6).
This is my first entry to the Renderosity Galleries. Being new to Bryce (July-02) and 3D in general, it's wonderful that a community like Renderosity exists - thanks to all the tutorials on the web.
Thanks for looking.

Mmmm nice mood. Like the depth in this pic too.
This is a good image. The reflective puddles are particularly well rendered and the ambience is convincing. The flare's over-done, but overall it's a very accomplished piece. If you're new to Bryce it looks like we can expect great things ;)
Love the track and puddles - maybe too much lenz flare, it kills detail, and is an over used effect. - keep up the good work.
Tanks for your comments. I tend to agree with you about the "flare" being an over used effect, and maybe it's even overdone this time ;o) But in this particular case, I thought the original Bryce render was "crying" for some flare effect from the sun. If you have suggestions on how to make it within Bryce, please let me know. I did play around with some volumetric effects, but they didn't turn out right.
I agree with tuttle and legobrick, but's a very good image, I could imagine to walk in this plantation... go on with your good work
Tuttle has it right, but I love this image for its artistic elements--particularly composition. Lots of people conquer the software, but I think the old-fashioned artistic standards need to be there, too. The ferns are a little sparse in places. Dupe and rotate to make thicker?
hej lars. As said before - i like it ;) John (AS3)
Like the atmospheric effects. Nice POV too.
