Description
Now many may think the camera was set on continuous imaging in order to get the action, that would be a misassumption. Getting these with a 300 mm in focus for a single(hand held) frame was challenging in itself, let alone multiple split second frames. Mentioning this because I clicked to soon, and missed getting the "smack down" captured.
"Trouble's" tenacity earned him a slap on the head finally, and finally "Trouble" went on his way.

Nicely caught!
Sometimes you just have to smack the bully. Beautiful photo and series.
Another wonderful image, excellent!
There is still plenty of action going on here Dana, its a great shot.
It's been a great series!
Excellent capture !
Great action scene I can hear the one saying, 'Don't make me smack you, child!'
Amazing capture again my friend, adorable place, fine shot, loved it very much!
Cool shot! I have a 300 mm lens and they are heavy.
S-P-L-E-N-D-I-D. 5+!
Little do they know that the birds are invading their territory :) Nice shot. Aloha
"Gonna smack you up the side o' the head boy, if you don't leave me alone!" You can see the flipper poised and ready to strike :) Great capture Dana!!
LOL. Oh too cool. I thought the one up on the rocks was going to plop on top of Trouble and drive him under the water. He must be smarter than me. Why go through all that when a smack upside the head will accomplish the same thing? :) Fun series!
Very beautiful capture of nature my friend, love it.
beautiful and fun capture.
Wonderful fun capture!!!
This is cool... the aftermath as it were!
WONDERFUL SERIES
Terrific action shot. I was puzzled by Trouble's actions since there appears to be room for him elsewhere. I'm wondering if this isn't a male/female thing.
What a shame you missed the smack but it is a super clear capture anyway of all this action. The birds aren't taking a bit of notice.
