Olive is one of those kinds of characters in comics that villains throw at the heroes who have all the powers of their foes, like the Super Skrull or Amazo. Her name comes not only from the tone of her fur/skin and the fact that she is on of the Mean Green Witch's "Green Creatures", but also from an old joke where kids have been supposedly known to have mistaken the line in the Rudolph song, "All of the other reindeer..." as "Olive the other reindeer..." So, there you have it, "Olive the Evil Reindeer!" Being another clone creation of the Mean Green Witch, Olive, is therefore a native of Halloween Hallow, in Transylvania, Romania, and has never called anywhere else home, nor has she really been able to experience much of the outside world apart from venturing out upon the instructions of MGW to battle the heroes of Christmas City. And, while she is a dutiful soldier, as her bio states, she is also something of a self-centered and self-serving individual with a superiority complex. So, while she does have "friends" in her all-female group consisting of the other young villainesses on her side, that "friendship" is tenuous at best. It's not surprising though, because this is a common trait among all of the villains from Halloween Hallow.
