Description
As a child I used to play next to this house as an aunt lived accross the street.. it was AGES since I saw this house.. i do not think there is another house in this city that looks this bad...
Neglected.. forgotten..
For sale in a time when economics are bad.. one can see the demolishion teams already moving in...
Sad... Perhaps I should not have searched for it today..

I'm sorry that seeing this house made you so sad Chris. Maybe someone will step in and buy it at the last minute, if not then you can try to reflect on the happy memories you had here. Trust me, I understand how you feel. My grandparents farm or my sister and I spent our weekends growing up is in the same condition. It breaks my heart every time I have to drive past it, as the people have let it deteriorate beyond belief. The good thing is those happy memories are inside of you my friend and not doomed to die with this house
Looks like it was beautiful in its day.
It is a shame to see a childhood memory go the way of demolition. Maybe someone will purchase it and restore it. As Dave points out, you have your memories
I'm with Dave.
aww, i'm so sad for you chris, i've lived in the same house since 1964, well most of that time anyway, my brother and i are retired and too old to fix our house and it looks worse than that! but i can feel the pain for you! excellent capture!:(*5
