Part of control gondola of a Armstrong Whitworth His Majestys Airship R33. Taken in the Historic Hangars, listed buildings that were part of the old Hendon Aerodrome, the cradle of British aviation. 2012th post in 2012 - a good year! Clive

Another fascinating exhibit that, like the 'Southampton', had me enthralled but wishing there was a bit more. Still, any small piece has to be better than nothing at all and is enough to spark interest in that which is not there....thanks Clive, really enjoying this series....
