Description
A character from the current cover I am working on, he's based on an Istockphoto guy-- but I have changed him somewhat from the original. (The original had undignified hair). Covers have been keeping me away from Poser; I am hoping to get to render something at the end of this week since I have new stuff :D

I'm so glad you're making so many great images like this. Your painting is so very much better than the photo. I definitely think giving him regular eyes was an improvement on those contacts. And I think you just made his hair work better; it actually looks pretty close. I like the earring in the photo, though. As always, great work!
Really nicely done! I love the details and the wonderful mix of strength and vulnerability! I also had to laugh at the way my mind works. I immediately thought of Winston Wolf, from Pulp Fiction and then wondered why this guy doesn't look anything like Harvey Keitel. Sometimes I wonder about me! This is a marvelous, truly sensitive character study and I like it immensely!
