Description
First attempts to make forest photos with my new camera. I must say it's a little bit more difficult to get a good result than before with my digi-cam. In the forest you need a very small focal aperture and a long exposure time. Otherwise you get no DOF and all looks like green mud. (A bit overdone.)

Ich habe mit meiner Canon EOS400d eigentlich nie Probleme bei Waldfotos gehabt. Gute Ergebnisse kriegt man mit dem AV-Modus. Die Kamera leistet da eigentlich, was die Blende angeht, schon ganz gute Arbeit.

Ich finde einfach Deine Waldaufnahmen immmer klasse, ich werd ein Bild erstellen das zwar Prehystorisch ist, aber deine Aufnahmen werden mir helfen das ganze realistischer zu gestalten, wünsch dir einen schönen sonntag abend

Your new camera looks like it's working perfectly to me. The zoom revealed many lovely small details and light. Beautiful as always and a joy to see.
Don't be afraid to amp-up the ISO rather than just rely of F stop & Shutter Speed; your Canon D5 Mark II has a lot of lattitde to get you where you want to be without a lot of reticulative graining!
I can easily tell the sharpness of your lens. I think you are short changing your self as the detail is there
