Description
'Play Misty for Me' is a 1971 American psychological thriller film, directed by and starring Clint Eastwood and that's just for the title for now ...
... but I am thinking more along the last verse and lyrics, by the English rock-band Led Zeppelin:
"So I'm packing my bags for the Misty Mountains where the spirits go now, over the hills where the spirits fly"
***
These thoughts came to my mind, when I got up very early one morning, looking down from our property - into the valley and noticed the mist slowly rising ...
Cheers

Wonderful moody atmospheric capture!!
Lovely shot BB, love it.
Wow what great timing Brigette. The morning mist looks awesome rising above the gorgeous landscape. You sure live in a beautiful spot.
Fantastic capture!
It is very well expressed. I thank you for this one. 5+!
Fabuloso, Brigitte! So beautiful and a masterful composition too.
I'm leaning towards Led Zep as this a rockingly good capture...oh yeah, and I like Rock'n'Roll ! Neat slice of the Country and also a neatly cropped Urban sprawl...cause one day there will be houses all through this valley...pooh ! ~Cheers~
A lovely composition, Brigitte. I was in the Mountains of Mourne at my boy's wedding last month, and the weather was made up of mist and low cloud and rain all the time, just about. Since this was in Ireland I convinced myself that it was enchanting. Warm regards, from a damp, cold Glasgow ( not so enchanting ), John.
Superb misty landscape, excellent moody image!
Mist can be magical & it is in this image - a fine capture...
beautiful landscape, pov an mist
That is so cool! I wish there were ares near me where this happened often, would be an incredible scene! Very nicely captured!
superb shot! great image!
we are in New Hampshire for the summer and this is a very common site up here. This has a great feeling because of the almost colorless effect! Well done my friend!
Better than mine I think. Masterful composition. I love the lone tree in the center.
Like overlooking in an other world, full of mystic levels, where can happen the most spiritual things. What a wonderful picture, dear BB-chen! An amazing view. Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic and beautiful, special land, beside your property! Hugs sending to you!
Misty Mountain Hop. Beautiful!! :)
I like the mystical atmosphere when fog is in the game. When thoughts turn somersaults. Peaceful or dramatic .... depending on mood Greets from Julchen for you, Gitti
Wow! That's gorgeous!
A beautiful effect, and I really like that grey tone and chilling, though most peaceful atmosphere! Seems like the calm before the storm... or maybe even the aftermath. Lovely composition!
What a gorgeous view you have, so peaceful and quite. A lovely shot. Glad you didn't miss it. You live in wonderland.
