Wow that is very cool what a find thanks for sharing.
This took some research too Andrew but the company being popular was a small clue. It's a Benz Velo probably from around 1894-1898. These can be hard to work out as with most cars built then, no two looked exactly the same. This is a real beauty mate, keep these vintage cars coming if you have more :)
