Description

The Grumman Goose amphibian was a civilian "commuter" seaplane built in the late 1930's. However, its service career, like that of many other "Civilian" aircraft designs of the time, was rather overtaken by world events, seeing it quickly pressed into service into more serious roles such as air-sea rescue. However, when I've finished the model, the first texture on the list is to paint this baby up as "Cutter's Goose" from the chronologically-challenged 1980's television series "Tales of the Gold Monkey" ...for some 30's "Somewhere in the Pacific..." nonsense... Thanks for viewing and comments...

Brilliant model.....bizzar T.V show.....Indiana Jones's poor relation. Very apt point about the chronology, if I remember correctly, our hero was an 'ex-Flying Tiger' in 1937/38.....

This is incredible, I envy your skills at producing these. I never saw the series here in the UK when it first aired but it looked kinda fun on Ytube. Cool work so far :)

Thanks very much for your encouragement... not sure if it would ever be good enough to stand alongside the excellent models in the store... but I might be convinced to offer it for free... as long as I'm not doing hard-working modellers out of a quid! I definitely need to work on rigging for Poser... manually adjusting flaps etc in Vue gets tedious...
