Description
Captured 9/3/12, early in the morning, within trekking distance of my hackneyed haven.
I found these beauties in a flower bed comprised of a variety of this species, just some of the few blooms that have survived the oppressive heat of this never ending summer. They seem to be in rather decent shape, although the one in the middle photo appears to be past its prime.
A ZOOM would be cool, as usual. Perhaps it would be better if ZOOM was the default, so I wouldn't have to keep repeating myself to do it.
Cheerybye, and have a nice day.

Truly sensational work on this very lovely collage Harry
All are so pretty, but I like the top shot best for no particular reason. Excellent post Harry!
You really captured vivid colors, textures and detail in these photos. The detail in the first image is my favorite. Flowers within a flower!
Absolutely amazing collection my friend, superb colors, loved it!
beautiful collection, nice flowers
Vivid indeed, and excellent captures all, Harry; isn't it amazing what can grow in an endless summer? The gardener must be diligent about watering, I guess. I'll bet it's a lovely garden!
They are lovely :)
