Description
The P&M motorcycle was chosen by the Royal Flying Corps as its standard machine during the First World War. By the end of the war the RAF had 3380 P&Ms on charge.
Immediately after the war the RAF disposed of many thousands of motorcycles nut by 1920 had just under 500 still in service.
P&M retained its monopoly in supplying motorcycles to the post war RAF until the late '20s. Its machines remained in service until the early 1930s.
