Description
My affection for the Masai only increased when I found out that, just outside a major game reserve, somewhere on the vast African savanna the Masai were keeping cats.

No matter our differences, people are people ...
Just wonderful! This is an amazing photo.
and cats are cats, unless they are the lion Great capture Mark
She arouses my protective instinct, the little tiger. Xcellent pic, Mark!!
Cool shot, very clever compo and sense of scale
So thats where our tabby ended up. A wonderful picture
How fitting. If you stop and think of it, there's something distinctly cat-like about the Masai; indeed, quite a large number of East Africans have a kind of feline quality to them--various Kenyan and Somali ethnicities in particular. And as for this shot, I love it. The mud walls are wonderfully textured and the colors are super. I like the muted tones that seem to imply quite a lot of color.
A whole different sort of African cat! :)
Wow, that is amazing!!
What a sweet shot. I am amazed to see that as well.
