Description
Venice, The Frari’s Basilica. Presbytery. It is the sacred place for the celebration of the liturgical services. The mastery of the architecture, the harmony of the lines, the grandeur of the monuments on the walls, the stained glass windows which allow a hazy light to pervade the lower area and a bright and glorious light up above, all of which leads the observer to a single point: The Assumption by Titian, the most precious jewel of the Basilica’s masterpieces.
