Description

these workers is securing that big I beam that have words on it. i was too late to get the photos of them getting the I beam into the building of them raising the big i beam. They took out a support wall here that ran down the middle of the building and that why they was putting the I beam in. I do like the lighting. I made it in the weeks charts with a image of these people working. I could not believe it. maybe I post the words on the I beam soon

Great capture Jocko. In the UK they would all be wearing safety helmets and the ladder would have to be tied.

Your pictures are always interesting Jock and I do know the risk they run, not using safety gear and procedures. I was a shop steward for an electrical crew in my earlier life! lol Steve ;)

I really like the way you captured the lines in this piece. Its like a work of art within a work of art with yet still another work of art within that one. Its hard for me to explain thats the best I can do right now. Just know youve done something special with this one.

Great shot. We need men with calluses on their hands and sweat on their brows running for Congress instead of thieving lawyers. Maybe one of these guys would run?

that is one heck of an I beam for a building. when I was a draftsman the i-beams for bridges were 12 to 16 inches thick and 8-10 feet tall. I never realized just how big they were prior to working for the steel company. in school we never done any very candid and unrehearsed capture
