Description
I had heard about them but only saw one once, the Great White Combie. Most tourists that go on safari stay at game lodges outside the game parks. These are little more than glorified hotels. The guests arise at perhaps 8:00 a.m., have a leisurely breakfast and are on the way to view the animals by around 10:00 a.m. They will travel in groups of four to six and are usually back at the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch there is the opportunity to go out for another two or three hours. They never go too far into the park for they must be back before sunset in time for cocktails and dinner. Their means of conveyance can be seen below.
