"The Royal Chateau de Blois is located in the Loir-et-Cher departement in the Loire Valley, in France, in the center of the city of Blois. The residence of several French kings, it is also the place where Joan of Arc went in 1429 to be blessed by the Archbishop of Reims before departing with her army to drive the English from Orleans.
Built in the middle of the town that it effectively controlled, the chateau of Blois comprises several buildings constructed from the 13th to the 17th century around the main courtyard.
It has 564 rooms and 75 staircases although only 23 were used frequently. There is a fireplace in each room. There are 100 bedrooms."

It is so perfect that it looks like a view created with Cloisters in Poser. Wonderful floor reflections, great color contrast and subtle leading line. The level of HDR is just right to bring out the colors and details.

Those Gothic arches are the first thing, that it is really striking and then there are the wonderful reflections and the light-play on the polished marble floor, which create an amazing atmosphere - probably a pain in the butt, to keep that room warm in Winter ;) BB

Une excellente photo de cette pièce du château de Blois que je n'ai pas eu le temps de visiter malheureusement. Le point de vue est fantastique et les reflexions sont superbes... Il faudra que je retourne dans le Val de Loire, de toute évidence :-)
