Description
the last bridge we had to cross, the tallest as well, was the Fremont Bridge.
At the peak there was this Taiko Group who amazed us with their art
There were also spots for those who needed their bikes tuned up and of course, a chance to meet more people
I do have a movie that I will be posting on YouTube of this group in action
my screenname @ YouTube is faemike55
The movie is posted - enjoy

wow that is a very tall bridge, what is your youtube account name to see the movies (i proably wont comment there as I dont have an account yet)
Awesome capture Mike, you can see the great height from this perspective. Pretty cool that it wasn't just a "bike ride", but so much more.
looks like that was fun to see. great shot.
must been hot there. cool image
Well done Mike, I can see you had an interesting trip and thanks for inviting us to share it with you.... :0)
Oh, I bet this was a nice little stop! Looks like they're reading to do some serious drumming.
marvelous sequence and reportage
What an amazing post! So high a bridge...and fantastic drumming. I remember hearing a drummer (taiko, I think) declare calmly: "God lives in the big drum, and whenever I hear or imagine such drumming, that quote always comes to mind...and it's the taiko drumming that has kept me completely hooked on the Bear McCreary soundtracks to Battlestar Galactica, already my favorite show, now my favorite show AND favorite tv-soundtrack music. This is superb!
terrific shot
Fantastic capture once more Mike they really went all out with the entertainment
This is more my speed. I'll drum while you glide past. Interesting handlebars in the foreground.
Nice! The Fremont bridge was still pretty new when I lived in Portland. I lived in the second one of those OLD mansions to the right on the east end of the Ross Island Bridge at one point...
stunning shot mike.
wow, that is a high bridge. looks like a successful day, Mike, I'm glad you had fun.
sure lots of traffic below. good chance for some aerial landscapes there
Looks like great weather. We had thunderstorms & a tornado today. Its clearing up, but the Joshua Tree National Park is on fire from a lightning strike. (again) It was kinda' sad. Smoke from a fire across a rainbow. "(
Amazing shot for wonderful art performance
