Description
Quetzalcoatlus was discovered in Texas in 1971 by Douglas Lawson a graduate of the Jackson School of Geosciences. It is named after the feathered serpent Quetzalcoatl. Originally believed to be a giant scavenging flying reptile, a pterodactyloid equivalent of a vulture, recent theories favour a ground hunting lifestyle.
Either way, it's hard to see a beast like this turning down the oppurtunity of a free meal, so if a dead Triceratops should happen to be around I'm sure they wouldn't object to a nibble or two.
