Description

See Supermarket Nightmare 1 Here for an explantaion of how I took this photo. This image is an example of why I like photographic accidents (as long as they don't involved water or impact!) Sometimes there is an attractive outcome. I do have the materials to actually make this in glass, but I doubt I shall ever get round to it! Maybe a painting?.....

A lovely accident Andrea. My sentiments are the same about shopping as in your 1st one!!

Love the bold, saturated colors. This would make a fantastic large format abstract. As for Walmart, I just don't go. Most of their stuff is made in China and I've tried to boycott Chinese goods as much as I can ever since Tian An Men in 1989.

Very creative accident photo image Andrea. The awsome mix of colors and lighting are gorgeous. Really does look like stained glass.

Wonderful artwork, even though this is a happy accident, I can still make out the strip lights and shelves :}

Lots of stunning effects in this nightmare shot, Andrea. In my nightmare scenario, running second to the undisciplined urchins cavorting amok in the supermarket is finding that the store has run out of items I had gone there for. Number three would be the skyrocketing costs.

This has turned out really well and it makes a great abstract. I send hubby to the supermarket so that solves a lot.

Is this a cousin to the Spin-and-Jiggle with a nice bit of digifiddling involved? I'll have to look into the other version to find out, and I must say that this does recall the structure and the essence of glass! I love the colors and I can understand the numerous sentiments that make up this shot. Happy accidents are fun, a lesson I learned when I first started photographing. Impact was nearly involved but water was not. I'm glad of that. Though admittedly, impact can be interesting as well...and fun...just as long as it doesn't involve me or anything that I might need or want. This is wonderful.

This is what I see if I use the self checkout at Tesco, something always goes wrong and it would have been quicker to use a till with 40 people waiting.

I like this better than #1 because of the bold colors but I still understand how you feel at Asda and especially the screaming child in the check out line!!!!

If one didn't zoom .. so much interesting texture was not seen! I have none of the problems you have with sound, but I still hate shopping. Apparently that gene was not passed on to me. I'm not even going to bore with all the twenty bazillion reasons I hate shopping, grins. Though one does involve screaming brats. love your digifiddling .. it's always so awesome.
