Description
In the year 1955 when flying was an adventure, on a Navy flight field somewhere in a dry lake in the west... Navy and civilian technicians prepare a test aircraft for a flight...
I found this Convair XFY-1 Pogo in ScetchUp Warehouse. Its not perfect, it has some serious failures, but for this picture it's OK. I textured it. The Pogo was one of the first VTOL aircrafts in the USA and was tested between 1954 and 1956.

Totally cool!!! I really like the ambient figures that you put in your scenes. They really add a tremendous amount to them. I do know about the sketchup models. They range from outstanding to out standing on the back lot in quality. You just have to figure out what usage is appropriate. This is a fine render. Great work!

I had to check... I thought I saw one and photographed it at Dayton when I was there.. But, alas, it was 'ONLY' a Ryan Vertijet! Hidden right at the back of the experimental hanger, even Bill (bmac62) missed it was so far out the way.. This is top work.. Well done.. Another rare one.. Rob
