Description
The same day that i took pictures of Sunrise from the Boiler House Roof I also took some picture of the Moon. Here is one of them.To my surprise I noticed this morning that a Male Weaver is already building its nest. Must be a sign that a new season is on our doorstep.
Blessed day and week.
God Bless.

I have a lot of catching up to do, but I simply had to comment on this photograph of the moon. How fitting, since there's a bit of lunacy surrounding me (family crap) at the moment. I love the fact that I can look at the moon, the same moon that I see here in Chicago, and saw when I lived in the Czech Republic. It's the same moon in South Africa, and everywhere else on Earth. There's something comforting in that, something bigger than us mere humans, and I can sense it in this photograph as well. I think it's because the photo itself is quite subtle and simple. It's just the moon: the very same moon that we see every month, if we care to look. I love the craters, just visible along the terminus: they add such a nice texture. I like this photo a lot.
Nice shot Christo! The Moon is always a tough subject to capture.
