perhaps because the plants were wet, or that the storm happened ... or maybe because there was bird nests !!!
Probably saving the corn kernels for next years crop? Aloha
because !! :) it's time to lunch :)
why not :-)
For seeds... Great capture, Richard!!!
Well spotted!!!!
Some of the farmers here do it as to feed the deer or what ever animals just to try to keep them out of the barns and some of them do it as to when deer season comes in they can have an easy shot at them but i do not approve of it but then i am not the lawman.
Nice capture!!
Very cool capture Richard. They do that here also and I have no idea why
They do this type of crop tending here in Wisconsin for 2 reasons..One as a wind break for when winter comes it stops the drifting snow from reaching the road/highway or what not and for food for the critters like deer and so on.....(smiles)...
I too reckon that it's left for nature.
interesting capture
not a crop circle, but a crop line? cool.
Very cool capture and question
Goes to show you I learn something every day! Great photo!
interesting shot.
Out of gasoil?
Interesting, outstanding capture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It could be a deer feed or a lower wet spot. Interesting image though.
Interesting and mysterious capture!
Why? - I guess it's for stopping the strong blowing winds!
maybe he just got tired lol
Corn!!! Beautiful!!!
Great capture Richard!
Wind break so the feild doesn't dry as fast creating dust would be my guess.
Fantastice photo.
yeah they had lunch time.. ;) .. interesting photo !
I was thinking a signal to passing UFO's, LOL, but Will's and others' explanation makes the most sense to me.
They don't have enough water for any more then that. :( They were talking about it on the news, bad drought! Good capture!
How could he miss that, Richard? He wanted his field to have a Mohawk, LOL!
