After checking the outer seal of the 3CM unit and its Lower Rotational Module counter-part astronauts in EVA thruster suits, who have once again ventured out from Discovery, lock the slide-guide units on the outer hull of the 3CM unit into place on the outer hull’s of the Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta spine units of the MMS-1. These units will hold the 3CM unit squarely in place until the next phase of the assembly programme commences. With this task completed the MMS-1 is once again relocated back to its docking location on the Von Braun Space Platform. In the days that follow astronauts will once again venture forth into space to check the entire outer surface of the now enlarged MMS-1 for damaged whilst others will enter the new crew section to fully check-out its huge array of complex systems as well as the access hatch unit from the 3CM unit to the Lower Rotational Module with its complex rotational systems. Whilst these activities take place in space on the ground far below NASA prepares for the next launch of a Hercules and Cocoon into space and payload they will convey. Here ends the next section.
