Description
Captured back on 7/10/08, early in the morning, from somewhere within the expanded neighborhood.
Well worth a ZOOM.
I got tired of poring through the hundreds of still unposted rose fotos in my files, so I settled on this one as number 200, the big kahuna, mainly to save myself from the agony of indecision.

I truly had no idea that the one day I'd return to RR, was the day you'd be posting your 200th rose. It's been one of the most beautiful and constantly varied flower collections on RR, and this one's a beauty. I understand the frustration of not knowing which pic to choose, for the big "200". But yes, you ultimately have to pick 'one', knowing that there are a ton of others which could have worked too. A beautiful array of colors from pinkish outer petals to an increasingly reddish yellow on the inside; and beautifully framed in saturated greens, with that pink brick at the bottom. You couldn't have framed it better if you'd picked the background by hand. Clear, bold and beautiful---esp zoomed---and wholly fitting of this beautiful series, Harry. Congratulations! And I wish you another 2000 more.

I agree to agree with all the other comments. I noticed the complex shades of colors and shadows casting of this rose. From the pink outer petals and from bright yellow to almost a deep orange center. Nice photo!
