Description
South African Art in de Kloosterkerk, The Hague
At this moment there is a very interesting exposition in The Hague, Holland: “The Rainbow Nation” Modern Art from South Africa.
Part of the exhibition is in the open air, on “Het Lange Voorhout” downtown The Hague.
There is one sculpture in the Kloosterkerk alongside Het Lange Voorhout.
(by the way, Our Queen, Beatrix of the Netherlands, usually goes to this Klooster Church for the Sunday ceremony. It is the moment for royalty-watchers to spot the queen, however the Dutch are too polite and they don’t show –up LOL)
There is a large number of sculpture in the museum in Scheveningen (Museum “Beelden aan Zee” _Sculptures near the Sea_) Schevingen is the Beach for The Hague.
A few private companies in the Hague expose as well a few sculptures.
Thanks for viewing, and your lovely words on my previous posting, a special thanks for those who earmarked the image as favorite; comments are always welcome.
Have a very nice week.
Henk
