Description
Bryce7Pro/DazStudio/Photoshop
This was a character study that became a lighting experiment...I wanted to create a look similar to the Reality Plug-in for DazStudio using only Bryce7Pro.The character is Michael3 Base(with my own face morphing)with a skin mat from the Men Of The Year set and the Wildenlander For M3 outfit with the Northern Guard texture set...all from Daz3D and imported through DazStudio. The wall is a stretched cube with a photo texture from CGTextures applied. The sky, light and atmo are custom.I set the sun to match the wall photo, then used the sky as IBL to light the scene.I lowered the intensity to 2 and raised the HDRI to around 20.The image was rendered in Premium with True Ambiance selected. In Photoshop I adjusted the levels, added scars and age spots to the character, added my signature and resized the image. Thanks for taking the time to view, and for any comments!

Well done - really like your lighting setup and the character pose/morph.

Great character creation !
well done, I like the komposition + the story you create with the person in the picture:)
You've done an impressive job rendering this in Bryce 7 Pro, love the lighting & the way the textures/surfaces came out~ Excellent work!
Great character, and I'd give you an A+ on the lighting. Excellent.
Excellent character creation!!
Great character and lighting!
Nice work. This result looks quite good. There are some tricks to using True Ambience that are not apparent, if you are interested in going further with TA let me know. It should be stated that reality uses unbiased rendering. Unbiased rendering is more than just radiosity, it considers many other light pathways as well. TA cannot do unbiased rendering because TA takes inherent shortcuts like most rendering engines. What makes a render unbiased is the approach take during rendering, not the look of the final results. Even if it looks unbiased it will still be biased in Bryce. We will talk more about this in time
He certainly resembles the salt and sea weathering of time...Most Excellent Character!
Excellent composition and sense of realism in this superb render.
