Description
In the great darkness
The raven calls my name
He knows me
Knows what fears hide deep in my soul
As I run through the forest
Thrashing through the low lying limbs
He follows me
Whispering my name
Knowing my fears
Will make me run aimlessly
Until I can’t breathe
Until I am on the brink of giving up
Then he will pull back
Quietly watch
And wait for me to catch my breath
So he can terrify me again
no worries my friends, I am just playing in the dark again lol.

excellent...such dark emotion is rare and a gift when it is shared and you share it very well...is a raven and a crow the same? i just looked up pictures of ravens in london and they look like what i've always known to be a crow...anyway there are 6 of these things hangin around my place. this lady that moved recently that lived here for over 30 years was feeding them and they are very confused. i have a mulberry tree and they are eating those...anyway...hope you have a great friday evening and that is just an awesome poem in my opinion... ...chills and thrills...

As dark as the raven is dark.
