Super work Jim. I went back and tried one more idea on that one, turned off all formula except the sphere as a standalone d.IFS, got some spectacular Transparency effects set. Then turned everything back on......Piece of Crap, the sphere looked OK but not near what it was stand alone, the rest was blown out with light scatter from too much reflects. My conclusions are for standalone d.IFS or d.IFS hybrids Transparency is really cool but on DE Combinates it's a tough tradeoff. I have seen some amazing things done with transparency on Quat's and a couple of other formulas but I can't imagine what the Render times must have been for those. Peace

I immediately thought of David Bowie when I saw this Jim...I really like space images like this, they let your mind expand. Have a great Canada Day. Me and my daughter are coming to Canada in September to visit my brother and his family. We have so many questions and want to see so many places, he will be glad when we come back home:-)
