Description

i was tending the garden actually putting up some fencing around the things that bugs bunny's been eating and i was coming up to the corner of my residence which you can see in the photo and i noticed something dangling from the 'electric meter'. at first i thought it was alive and then upon closer inspection and blowing on it a few times i realized it was dead and i was surprized to see it in the sun as they like dark places...then i remembered that i sprayed around the house about 2 days ago. i try to avoid chemicals but some of these things require it. i use as little as possible but unfortunately or perhaps fortunately i got this little guy...i guess his home was behind the meter...RIP...it is a brown recluse is it not??? thanks for your views and comments...they mean so much to me...even critical... chills and thrills

It have a lot of insectes in our life But somes whant to play whit us I have big spiders on top of my galery I sray ,wash it clen eat and always when the ligt is off the came again.. Grrrrrr Bout you have one but may be the eggs are under all that . Just for a smile ((5++))

Don't feel bad, he may have died of other causes. I have even seen them get tangled in their own web strands, but then again thos may have been spider suicides...sometimes they get despondent at their lonely life of killing!

thanks for all your comments, and those who rated, again this motivates me, but if you look up photos of brown recluses on the web...no punn...i believe you will see that it is...i kept trying to find the eyes as that what really makes them stand out plus the brown coloring and the jointy legs...but again this one is dead and dangling in 100 degree F weather for a couple of days so it's kinda dried up but it is a recluse. i have one in a container in the house that i found scurring across the floor one evening...thank goodness i saw it. i have had a few spider bites since i've been in this house so they intrigue me but the bites are terrible. i don't think one of these have bitten me though. supposedly they are very bad if you get bitten. i also have black widows around the property as well. i actually saw one early spring under my porch overhang and after i got my camera it had hidden itself. i have other photos of the black widow from last year but not posted yet...thanks for your comment and viewing though... chills and thrills

The spider is interesting (and I'm sorry it's dead), but the right-hand three-quarters of your photo is equally interesting. I like it! It's kind of surrealistic. :) In fact, I'm having a little trouble figuring out how it fits into the picture. I'm thinking your lens is looking through...plastic? Or glass, maybe? Or maybe it's a reflection? Anyway, great shot!
