Then I Have You
There are times in my life I feel so much despair,
Then I have you with me showing that you care.
In bed with a breaking heart I cry late at night,
Then waking to find you, knowing it’ll be all right.
No one but you knows exactly how bad I may feel,
They just can’t imagine how my hurt is so very real.
You give me great comfort while for nothing asking,
Since I have your devotion that is forever lasting.
Now that I have you I will no longer feel alone,
All my haunting fears and despair are really gone.
Everyone keeps telling me that you are merely a cat,
But having you here means more to me than that.
They are never here when I walk the floor at night,
And don’t know how the darkness causes me a fright.
Now that I have you showing just how much you care,
I know my days and nights you are going to share.

oh! THIS JUST SAYS IT ALL, DOESN'T IT!? The vet called me and my baby HAS to have a steroid shot to reduce the IBS inflamation so he will eat BECAUSE going without solid food for so long, can damanage a cat's liver!! So I have an appointment set up for that shot, more water under the skin and several kinds of food to try to get him to eat...He refused my own most tender fresh chicken breast meat... Thanks for being there for me and expressing what we who are owned by our cats feel!
I know how you feel. I have five cats and a horse, but I would have more if my husband would let me.
