Description
I saw an add here in Tokyo the other day which was had some Dandelion Seeds in it. It was an interesting abstract image. I have tried this before but I never really got it working. This is a better attempt but even more improvements can be made.
Regardless, this came out nice and I like it. The render took 24 hours 31 minutes. The texture map in the "feathers" of the seeds coupled with the ray traced DOF costs time.
Those two things though added quite a bit of value to the result.

Very lovely dandelion seeds and nice effect overall.
I Always was fascinated by how these worked!! To blow on them and just watch them float on by was just too cool just like this work of art!
Nicely put together!
Beautifully done!
Very lovely and brings back cherished childhood memories. Oddly enough I have not seen a dandelion in decades.
