This is a beautiful painting Mark, and it is a perfect representation of the heat of summer hitting. I myself prefer summer, and don't mind dealing with the heat nearly as much as the cold of winter. Magnificent job of heating up the gallery with this smoking hot image.

Same here. You can get a few cold degrees, if we can get a few warm. Still not very warm here. But I will let these wonderful flames warm up all my area. I am sure it is able to :D SO beautiful and intense colors, Mark :-)

Well, I dont' know where you live, but yes, the heat has hit here in New Hampshire, USA...today hit a record high of 98F...WAY to hot for this time of year!!!

Ouch! The searing heat from this tall presentation, starkly radiating a glorious glow of red, white and yellow effects, instantly threw me back from my monitor and keyboard and to the kitchen sink, where I splashed cold water on myself! Otherwise, a lovely quasi paisley effect. Yes, an outstanding rendering, Mark, and remember what I said about your eventual place among such masters as Rembrandt, Manet, van Gogh, et al.
It's all burning! You're a magician, Mark, making fire (which isn't really all that easy) where there isn't any. Wonderful work!
