Description
Is it a mural?
Or a sculpture?
You see this on war memorials; Roman buildings and so.
I really don't know the name, but this reminds me of it.

What a strange texture turned out.
Bas Relief maybe?
silver silk?
Don't know what it is Corrie, but it certainly is attractive. Very cool work.
Very nice creation!!!
I agree with clbsmiley - I believe it's called a bas-relief. According to one source online, it is defined as: ---------------------- A French term from the Italian basso-relievo ("low relief"), bas relief is a sculpture technique in which figures and/or other design elements are just barely more prominent than the (overall flat) background. Bas relief is created either by carving away material (wood, stone, ivory, jade, etc.) or adding material to the top of an otherwise smooth surface (say, strips of clay to stone). This is a technique as old as humankind's artistic explorations... http://arthistory.about.com/od/glossary_b/g/bas_relief.htm ---------------------- Cool work here, Corrie! :)
Thanks, guys. I never knew the name. :-) Corrie

Inderdaad het lijkt op een oude muurschildering. Horses, Corrie, which are running very fast. I love the shapes and colors.
Totally awesome colors, textures and carvings. Outstanding quality Corrie.
cool relief, great texture
sublime , beau travail
excellent render, love the texture and coloring, bas relief sure, why not!:)*5
It is a bath in the galvanic industry, bubbling and very hot. No, the fumes are missing, so it must be a bas-relief indeed.
Fascinating carving effect on this one, Corrie! It might be just anything... Vashek
Excellent work.
