He looks like a plane - is that why it's called a carpenter shark???? Lol. Brilliant shot Andrew.

Wonderful capture beautiful fish
très belle image pour cette créature qui semble redoutable et qui ne l'est pas. J'aime bien aussi le fond marin avec sa variété de couleur qui met bien en évidence ce poisson.
great shot
Such a beautiful shot!
A sawfish! Long time since I heard about one or saw a picture of one! Glad to re-establish the acquantance! Very nice photo. The waves really got me to wonder what this was. Truely one of nature's more odd creatures. Thanks for posting this. Keep up the good work! :-)
They are fierce looking. I've seen some, but dead on the pier for fishermen, in La Libertad port. Cool capture, the ondulated appearance is great.
fantastic.
SUPERB CAPTURE , THE REFLECTIVE COLOURS OFF THE WATER ARE STUNNING , MAGIC SHOT
Very nice background colors.... Aloha
Strangely enough, when I read 'Carpenter shark' - I immediately thought of Hammerhead shark, but no! wrong turn ;) a new species for moi ... this image has an amazing clarity and perfect colour manipulation, I love this! BB
S/he is a beauty and the super lighting on or in the water pushes this photo right over the top!
