Description
This pair of green parrots were not caged but very happy sitting on this branch in south Miami, Florida. I can’t find any information about green parrots, this size, with the red facial feathers. They were about a 12 inches (30 cm) long. Photo taken April 2012. Still so busy but only about 2 or 3 days behind in my commenting! Do zoom!
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated.

Great color, clarity, texture, and lighting effects in this capture of the twin parrots, Dana. It didn't seem to ruffle their feathers.
Kool zoom, dig the detail on the feathers and they definitely know you are taking their photo, but still seem quite relaxed ! Well done & ~Cheers~
Wonderful capture Dana.
Wonderful portrait Dana! Very nice shot indeed!!!
nice portrait, very lovely shot
As if they are saying to each other: 'did you see what the neighbour is wearing today?' and the other: 'Yeah I know! - green again, doesn't really suit her';) too cute, Dana! BB
NEAT COUPLE :) Today MONTREAL CHAMPIONSHIP (PGA)
They are so lovely.
Beautiful Dana. I like the way you composed this!
a really large parrot flew over me recently while I was getting the mail.I wish I knew how to attract them. there are 1000's of Lorakeets living in the wild here
A fine shot. They look contented and intelligent.
Are they looking proud here, while sitting upright so beautiful! A splendid photo-shot, Dana! Please take it easy, my friend :).
Great capture, Dana!! Maybe they think: Oh, no papparazzi again!? ;o)
Yes! These are Amazon parrots! And lovely ones!! There are SO many kinds, I'm not EXACTLY sure what kind, but I am leaning toward the red-lored Amazon. I'll have to do some research and get back to you, LOL. GREAT capture!!
Soooo pretty!
