Description
Just a few doors down from the Blacksmith shop(last post) in Historic Ferndale, California. Decided to even keep the lamps with the reflections, kind of gave the place a face. :~) Happy Fathers day to all that fill those shoes!
To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!!

Wonderful architecture, a great POV and a super shot Dana.
this is fantastic POV
Good shot.
great shot too bad they do not make buildings like that anymore!! great little town also!
This is a magnificent picture of this building awesome sculpture work on it.
cool angle on this shot, the structure of the building is super.
zoom is a must: The image looms and bursts in front of us, full size. The detail you captured is truly captivating. Not only by showing vividly the deep hues of these Victorian facades (and how well they're kept up), but by showing---through angle as well as vivid settings and clarity---the many layered ornaments, mouldings etc, that were so common to this eclectic style. The hue and reflections in your glass are beautiful. And the fundament of the image---a deep blue window---gives it a grounding that feels like the whole thing rests on a swath of the cosmos. A fine capture of this busy and beautiful style, and a pov that says 'monumental'.
Superb POV and shot of this amazing house !
