Description

This is one place very few will ever visit or see. I found it in the woods above a reservoir where we regularly walk. There is no defined path to it and we only came across it by chance. The first time we saw it was a few years back and I forgot about it. It may be that we will move back south so we tried to think of all the places we wanted to photograph before we move. We went back there a couple of times but there was very little water in it. So we recently had two days rain and off we went one morning last week. Got a few nice images then it poured with rain. It is on the Lancashire moors a few miles from where we live. If we move I am really going to miss this rugged landscape.

I love the layers of rocks, it's easy to see where the idea for drystone walls came from. Such a beautiful falls! I'd never leave if I lived there.
