well, as we might say in the Midwest, "Well hell's bells, mary, the man does all those skyscrapers in NY, then those majestic forests in England, and then he gives us a closeup from his home garden, and it's just as beautiful as the rest..." The tones here are beautiful; yes, silver, with cool scintillating grays, and of course greens (and blue-ish shadows). The tones are cool but restful, and I love those jutting leaf forms underneath the blooms. You made them appear as neckwear, formal, celebratory...And you give us really 4 or 5 blooms (flowers, buds, etc, and it's all you needed: You make a few items in nature seem like a small village. Beautiful, Alan. I'll be back for more soon, but as always, it's a pleasure...
